South central Chile volcano erupts 6 miles high

On the morning of June 6, 2011, as the eruption at the Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcano chain continues. The volcano, dormant for decades erupted in south-central Chile, has begun belching an ash cloud more than six miles (10 km) high that blew over the Andes and carpeted a popular ski resort in neighboring Argentina.
